This series was inspired by the online world of dating. As our day-to-day becomes increasingly digital so does the way we perceive and interact with each other. This project was kind of an exercise on visualizing what our future online culture might look like.

The environment is inspired by a futuristic, digital NYC. When youre on your way into the city sometimes you see a thousand people. Perfect strangers. No words are spoken, but we are all constantly communicating. It’s very surface level, but its a shorthand for connection.

The characters and their clothes are inspired by what I envision the next generation of digital New Yorkers to look like. Urban decay meets digital utopia.
