MOOD SWINGS is a three part series where I explore emotive visualizers in c4d and touchdesigner.
Like many of us lately, I’ve been experiencing a surge of runaway thoughts; Something new rising to the surface with each passing moment. Each thought carrying its own words, colors, textures, and sounds.
This series reflects on how the body interprets what the mind experiences through a kinetic system developed in touch designer. The system is designed to cut clips ( Emotions ) together to whatever music is being played at the time. each clip is a single clip from the emotions below.
Texturally I wanted to use metallic objects inside of colorful ambient spaces to give the vignettes a feeling of fragmentation and visual distortion. the shape of each object mimicking that of a unique feeling.
Each piece i would try to fully finish in a day or two, starting each day with a fresh slate, meandering through the process of making.
